Most classes voted in the Youth Leadership Initiative’s Mock Election today. Results will be available on Monday, November 5. I have promised to post those results as soon as they become available. The Blue Devils had some technical issues so we’ll try again tomorrow. We also reviewed vocabulary homework and discussed the evolution of language. In some classes, with talked a little more about our upcoming biography unit. My goal is to push students to read about and study people they might not otherwise.

We had Spanish today and students played a game where they had conversations with each other while trying to match Spanish words with their English translations. If your child is interested in having a bigger role in January’s Spanish production, please return the permission slip sent home. Let me know if you need additional copies.

Today was picture day. Make-ups will take place in early December.
