The day we have been dreading has arrived!

The pestilence from the East arrived. It swept through the town (5 times in quick succession) and left devastation in its wake. The remaining residents were forced to contemplate what life would be like in a town where more than 50% of the town has died, leaving far fewer farmers, bakers, millers, ironmongers, weavers, doctors and priests. The survivors were far less jubilant when they realized the might well starve to death in the months following the plague.
