Today students received a letter from an anonymous donor asking them to design the front of their museum. The donor asked that the front of the museum be eye-catching, attractive, and easily accessible.  The goal of the museum is to educate people on the role of the individual in shaping society. Students were given the choice to work individually or in groups on their design. All five classes will get to pick the winner of this design contest.

Each class will then design the entrance to a different wing in the museum. Students seem pretty excited by this project. They started looking up different kinds of design elements including columns and domes. As always, the best part of class is listening to the conversations that go on as students negotiate and plan with each other.
